Hahaha! Thanks guys! It is on it's way home.

The guy told us the transmission was failing and it looks like it may need a rebuild. If it is rebuildable, the kit is $150, so that shouldn't be a problem.

My husband is thinking of selling the heads, since it's a stock intake, and it is just meant to be a daily driver. That is a decent chunk of change made back from the purchase.

I am pretty excited. A little TLC to the interior, and that car will be perfect!

Now ... if I could just get my coupe on the road!

86 = my favorite year.. :D:D:D

it was the first stang I ever rode in.. my dad's friend's.. he took me to school one day.. dropped me off and lit them up going out of the parking lot.. needless to say.. everyone was asking me about it..

Here are the pictures - http://blue91gt.351stang.com/86GT/

The body is very straight, it's odd seeing an original paint job on an 86GT with such little flaws. Our biggest concern was whether the body was straight.

The interior will be worked on after we finish the 91... which I hope is sometime before I turn 30! LOL

Great deal on the 86. We have 6 Mustangs in my family now. I have an 86 GT, my wife a 99 V6 Coupe, daughter #1 has a 78 King Cobra, (For Sale) and an 89 GT, daughter #2 has a 95 GT, daughter #3 has a 95 V6 Coupe. Adds up to a lot of maintenance for me.
