I just installed C springs and standard KYB shocks and struts this weekend with Energy isolators on my 94 vert. I like the combo! I expected the ride to be a little harsh but it feels as smooth (if not smoother) as factory and handles better. I took the front spring to the grinder and took about 1/2 of metal off and flattened on end. I wish I had done the same to the rear (I will prolly go back) The front is pefect! (bling bling) I can just put 2 fingers in the wheel well with my 225/17s. The back is a little high and could stand to come down a 1/5 inch or so but its doable. The easest way to bring it down more would be to omit the top isolator but that could allow some road noise. Be sure to use shocks and struts for a 93 or earlier fox body bacause the pistons are about 1 1/2" shorter and on a lowered stang you have less room to travel. Also, get a loaner spring compressor for the fronts. When your done, loosen up the camber plates and tug the top of the struts all the way out toward the outside of the fender. This is what is recomended by Maximum Motorsports. The parts new are about \$380 but I shopped around on the net and got everything unused in the box for only $250
This upgrade combined with the 17s, super subs and rollbar that I have installed this year has really transformed my car into a much more sure footed street machine!
