How in the hell do you cut someone's head out of a picture so cleanly like that? Everytime I try I make a mess of it...

In PS, I use the magic wand tool if the background is clean enough to permit (and this pic has a very clean background), then I clean up whatever it missed with the earser tool. If the background is a riot of color, I use the eraser tool exclusively.

The most important part of getting a chop to blend is adjusting the hue and lighting to match between the two pics. I had to lighten and pinken up GS's face. I also used the blur tool to blend where his neck met the body.
