I've seen 'em live, and I'm listening to their CD at the moment. Live they're not at all shabby, but the CD just doesn't appeal to me. I prefer the Datsuns, but neither deserve their fame.

There are many much better Kiwi bands; Steriogram, Shihad, Subtract...

i personally think the d4 album is better than the datsuns. i think the d4 and the datsuns are the only kiwi bands i've actually heard anything of.

i'd like to see the d4 ;live

oine thing that annoys me about the d4 though is the fact that they rereleased the album with an added track about 2 weeks after i got the album and that's annoying

You have never heard any Shihad? Otherwise known as Pacifier?

i've heard of shihad but not actually any of their music

the thing i heard about them was about their name change in the uk metal magazine "metal hammer"

Yeah, and on that note, Metal Hammer is ****e to. They did a ****ty feature hassling Sepultura last year. Bastards.

i'd personally don't read it regularly. i'd read it if my brother colin got it but that's a rare ocassion

the datsuns are going to be playing an irish festival this year, witnness. i've got my tickets for it

so as long as no one better than them are playoing at that time, i'll go see them live

god, the new datsuns album is really really really bad
