No douby some of you have already heard that Steve Saleen had decided a while back to build his own car from scratch tht would be different than his modified Stangs... Well MSN Carpoint has a pic or two and streaming video of an interview with Saleen about the car as well. Lots of different views of the car as well. Here's the link if you wan to look at the vid. Even if you only have dial-up, it's still worth a look!

For those of you too lazy:p to check it out, I'll put a pic below... It's a mid engine 7 liter V8 push-rod engine that produces 550 horsepower. Saleen says he plans on making about 100 production models a year for the next 4 years at a price of about $395k each. Expensive as hell to be sure, but this thing is designed to run with McLaren F1s and other supercars. Saleen also has 4 race teams using the S7 at the moment and plans on adding 5 more in the next year, (Euro racing no doubt...). In case anyone is wondering, the production version comes FULLY loaded with all the goodies as well. It even has a rear camera system to compensate for the bad rear visibility that you'd have with just a rear view mirror!
