The Tri Cities Mustang Club had a meeting tonight and we all dropped by some of the local hangouts afterwards. First we dropped by this one spot that seemed like it was overpopulated with ricers and the second we drove in they started with the insults for no reason whatsoever other than they were just a bunch of punkass teenagers driving around mommy and daddy's fart piped civics. We were all there being peaceful and friendly and not starting shit with anyone. The funniest part of it all was that they were all hiding behind a guy on a motorcyle and as soon as he left they all stopped talking shit. What a bunch of ****ing fags!

hell yeah dude.. I went out tonight with kaley, my dad and my dad's girl.. well anyways, me and kaley were in her civic, which I was driving.. her engine blew a few months before she bought it and they guy before her put in a hybrid engine.. so yeah, it will scream past 8500rpms.. and it looks totally stock.. anyways, we pulled besides a prelude today, and he starts laughing with his friend at me and kaley.. well I toasted his ass at the top of first threw third.. and my as soon as I had two car lengths on him.. my dad shot around me in his old mustang and dumped the nos.. holy shit it was bad.. we got up at the next light and the f'n retard was ripping on me b/c I got beat.. when I said it was my dad his jaw dropped, and I told him I had a mustang too.. he started his normal talking shit, it was funny, got beat by a stock looking four door honda.. makes me wish I was riding when pop when he lit the back tires up at 60 pass the retards..

just thought I would say.. I hate ricers.. when they going to realize it's all physics..

I just had some idiot in a Prelude with a 4 foot wing riding my ass in the Explorer, I still wanted to race him, probably would have won too. What I used to do in my Mustang was pull up next to them, put it into 2nd, and do a burnout from a 30 roll. That usually scared the snot out of them:D :D

Hahaha. Yeah, I know, I always feel like I have to defend ricers here, being the resident import fan. But hell, a lot of those kids are stupid. I know a Stang can smoke most any import, stock. But just realize, there are a lot of stock-looking civics out there who are running 170hp to the wheels on a 2200 lb car with nothing to tell them apart except maybe for the rims. Yeah, those shit talkers do get very annoying. Most of them are little kids, tho. Don't stress too much. If all they can do is talk shit, they're just little boys. Just blow them away. Just curious Wedge, but you wouldn't know which engine your girl put in her car, would you? And you think that she'd be willing to let me pull her engine, put in a more mild one for her, and give her a little bit of cash for it?

I had never seen that many messed up looking imorts in my life. all of them had strobe lights and crap. I wanted to go over and look at them but they seemed pretty hostile with all that hootin and hollerin. But I think we represented well ;)

All I can say is group mentality. I'm sure if you were just at a random gas station, and saw a nicely done up civic (if there is such a thing to you guys) and wandered over to check it out, the driver wouldn't mind a bit. And it goes both ways. But once you get people into big groups, you know how much the attitudes change. I mean, shit, if I were rolling up in a little rice rocket, I wouldn't just go up to 10 guys in Stangs chilling in a parking lot. And when you get a group of imports versus domestics, there's gonna be some feathers flying. Don't think I've ever been to a street race where there were more than a couple of domestics, actually. And those guys are usually always ex-import drivers, too. You guys ever go to any all domestic street races? Jus curious if they even have them. Not sure.

honestly I can't exactly tell you what the engine code is.. all I know is it's out of a prelude.. and I have been told it's the hybrid.. we went to a "ricer" car show one day and she drove her stock looking civic.. they laughed at her, and told her to pop the hood.. they all stopped and aawwed over her engine.. something special about it.. I was the only with a grin on my face, and my jaw not on the ground saying "this is a chicks car".. I broke the silence saying "not bad for half a motor" LOL they all started talking there hp/ltr this.. and blah blah blah..

I drove it down the local street the other day, and to be truthfully, it don't do like I want it to... only b/c it's an auto.. it takes to long to wind up in first.. anywho, we pulled beside some guy in a old falcon who kept reving his flows at me.. I ignored him, and when the light turned green, he spun out of the whole.. he started pulling back on me, but as soon as it hit 5k, man that thing screams he never gained back on me.. a stock 4door honda.. pulling on an old falcon.. I felt like a ricer.. what was funny that thing is louder with stock exhaust than his when I hit 9,000 rpm.. yeah, it'll turn it..

Damn, if its out of the prelude, that's an H22. Not the one I want. Requires too much work to put it in to justify the hp gain. Yeah, Honda engines love to rev high.

I have an old hybrid swap. It was just published in the January Sport Compact Car issue. The actual car that they were doing the swap on was a $250 turd so they used mine for the pictures.

It's an 86 Civic SI with a DOHC ZC Jap spec motor
It's no where near as fast as my Camaro, but I have had it since High School and won't ever sell it.
