Well, the debate was if it was a GT or a 6 with dual exhaust.

If it was a 99, then it COULD be a GT, as the side badgers were the running horse for 6s and GTs...

But if it was an 00 or an 01, then it was prolly a V6, since only the 6s had those badges on the side.

It was an autoinside.

BUT the debate was ended...for the most part, with the absence of foglights.

Either he decided to remove them, or he has a 6.

well I don't know much about the new mustangs.. but

1. he would have to take off the "GT" badge in the back to put up his cool stripes..

2. If it was a GT it would have to be a 99 b/c of the side badges... like you said..

3. If it was a 01 he would have blacken headlights.. but then again he also changed the tails.. plus the wing is 99-00, and no fake scoops

4. the fog lights.. are you sure those weren't an option on GTs?? can't remember.. but I think you are right..

5. my biggest point.. is the rear bumper the same for GT and v6? I know he has dual exhast which he would have to added if it was v6.. but I didn't think the v6 had cut outs on the rear bumper for dual exhast..

all he would have to do is crank it up, and you could probably tell what it is.. that's the funny thing about "cobra v6s" they sound like two ricers racing each other.. LOL

If the side badges were just the running horse, it was a 00 or 01 V-6. All 99s had the anniversary badges, which is a horse in front of the circle badge.

couldn't you have peeked in the window and looked at the tach and speedo? they're different on the 6's, right?

yes but who would think to pull the fogs off a GT? but dang that's a bunch of work for a 6cyl.

I found out a friend of mines sister drives a 6cyl that's about that bad.. she drove it over here.. man I gotta get some pics of it
