I think I'm gonna be leaving DA for a while. I've got a few reasons, but I won't get into all of that. One reason is that I'm taking 5 classes this semester, and I really need to spend more time studying.

I know I've tried taking a break before, and it didn't last very long, but anyway.... I'm gonna try to do it again. (this DA addiction is kinda ridiculous, ya know?) ;)

I don't know when I'll be back. But hopefully when I do, some stuff going on in my life will be sorted out. :(

I've learned balance and discipline. I'm on here during school but usually cut it down almost to zero at home. I can't afford not studying.

But I still get my DA fix. I hope you come back soon. You're bright spot in what can be a cold and gloomy site.:)

I was just wondering, odd, i havne't 'seen' Cindy in a while, and so I decided to poke here and saw this.

Well, it is like two weeks late, but good luck with the classes, I know its tough.

And im sure we will 'see' you when the semester is over :)

I haven't been in the journals much the past week or so, or I would have posted yesterday.

Welcome back to the board. I missed your presence in the debates, especially, there aren't enough good debaters. So how are/were your classes??? :D

School is going really well! For once, I like all my classes! And btw, a small miracle happened to me a couple weeks ago. I'm taking this public speaking class (well, it's called "communication experience" so its not as bad as a straight speech class, but we do have to do presentations) and I have a TOTAL fear of public speaking. Anyway, the miracle is - I had to do a presentation, and after a week of stressing about it and not knowing if I could do it, I did it, and not only did it go REALLY well, but my partner and I (it was a dyad presentation) got a perfect score! :nice: So that was amazing considering I didn't even know if I'd be able to do it at all.

(yeah, I know to most people that would be no big deal, but to me it was!) :p
