Hot dilly damn, this game is rad! I just d/l'ed the demo from Fileplanet.com (http://www.fileplanet.com/index.asp?section=333&file=82103), played it through, and am now twitching from withdrawl. The gameplay is fantastic, the rendering is nothing short of arousing, and the story, for fans of the series, is just sooo satisfying. Give it a shot, whydoncha?

Did you play the first soul reaver? The commercials make the graphics seem about the same.

Oh no no no, check out the demo. The graphics are about 15 billion times better. It's still the Tomb Raider-style action, but all the characters are much more intricate. The backgrounds, holy geez, they're beautiful. I dunno if you've seen ICO for the PS2, but they're *that* beautiful.

damn that makes me excited. I thought the first one was pretty good, even though it was quite blue balling at the end. I keep on finding more and more reasons to buy a PS2... sigh, the life of a geek is never cheap.

what? Is soul reaver 2 coming out for the pc soon too? I know GTA3 is not supposed to come out for the pc till may or soemthing.

They have movies and demos online...

I ended up acquiring said piece of entertainment software, installing it, marveling at its beauty, its genius, and beating it in ten hours' gametime. They sure crammed a lot of fun into that time, though. A lot of great story elements, too.
