Ok, here's one for ANYBODY who's ever worked in a service industry job of any type... Don't you just LOVE some of the retarded, thieving mother F*&kers you get to deal with at times??? Rude customers, scam artists trying to get something for nothing, stupid customers, etc... I wanna strangle them all at times:mad:

Automotive mechanics is a great field for this kinda gripe... I can't count the number of cars I've fixed over the years that have come in "no problem - just needs tune up" (my ass!!!). The car will BARELY run, idles like horse crap, NO power, etc... But it just needs a tune-up. SO, you do the diagnostics that come as part of the T/U, spend 1/2 hour explaining as diplomaticly as possible to the customer that their car is the biggest POS on God's green Earth and what it'll take to fix it... And what do you get??? No, I just want the tune-up, I can't afford anything else, or some other excuse.

SO, for the sake of good customer service, you spend twice as long as normal on said car, get it to the point that it almost runs properly (with 3 acts of God to help you), and THEN what do you get??? "OH NO!!! It wasn't doing that before I brought it here! You ****ed up my shit!!! I want it fixed right, NOW!"

I could spend 3 weeks typing in other stories about customers who demand that completely unrelated services be included with some basic maintenance item, and countless other abuses... I gotta leave SOME room for others to rant here however.

I know computer professionals go through the same thing... One of my Kenpo Instructors services HP printers for a living. He gets the same "It wasn't broke before you took it apart" crap all the time too. He just replies, "Yeah, somebody called me up and paid me money to come here on a service call and break a perfectly good printer" - LMAO! Manu's story about 2 hours to route a printer cable until it cosmeticly pleasing to the jackass that wanted it is equally assinine.

I've heard all kinds of stories from housing contractors too, and I'm sure we've all seen cashiers being abused by some loudmouth jerk for no good reason.

All you people that have to put up with this kinda crap, here's your chance! LET IT RIP!!!

AMEN!!!

I personally believe that all people who go through college, should be forced to work in retail, especially for a large store like Lowe's (like I did) or Walmart etc.

Seems to me that the worst customers are the well educated type.

I too could go on and on about the shitty customers I had at Lowe's, but I won't.. you all know how it is.

People, when you go shopping and are waiting on someone to help you, please be considerate.. that is only one person and can only help one person at a time.

Don't interupt them.

Don't cut in front of others.

Don't put trash in the shelves, we have to clean that shit up.

Don't leave stuff just whereever you want to.

Just think to yourself "if I worked here, would I want a customer to do this to my store?"
