I known many players in my time. i kind of understand what make them tick. One a player is can be virgn or novirgn. two they can be male or female. Three players see realtinships as a game just like basketball. Meaning to score points in this player game you have to get as much sex as you can. Also get as much money or things as you can from the people you are playing. many players will say do hate there actions hate the game they are caught up in. in other words( hate the game not the player). Also in my oppion this where a lot of male and female sterotypes come from. That is my take on the whole thing for what its worth

All valid points and stuff I've observed to a certain extent myself... The guy that my sister-in-law is sort of dating fits the "get as much crap from them as you can" mold... That's a whole nuther story though - LOL!

I think you're DEAD on with the stereotypes originating there as well... People get burned, bitter and start acting that way themselves to keep from getting burned again, and it becomes a never ending cycle:(

why inflict unnecessary pain? the playa does that. why the power trip? ugh

but don't use that as excuse to hurt people.. just b/c you got hurt.. it happens.. get over it.. (me and my lots of room to talk)

I don't use it as an excuse myself (even though I've been burned repeatedly:( ), or even attempt to justify the behavior. It's simply an observation of unfortunate fact.

I would hope society in general would grow out of this kind of childish behavior eventually, but it seems to be growing if anything

very true, I agree.. it feels like everyone is out for themself, and they hurt people purposely to make themselves feel good.. but I don't know about anyone else, but I don't like hurting anyone.. even they hurt me.. I just guard myself from letting them hurt me again..

My philosophy as well... I can't say as I haven't FELT like hurting back, but I've never been able to lower myself to that level:)

oh yes, I have felt like hurting back, and I can see where people let it get out of control, but like everyone else, I had the option to calmly walk away.. and I have on numerous occasions.. you have choices up till a point, but I know that rational thinking is not after that point..

Yeah, I know what you mean about that fine line too... I've been nearly pushed over it twice. Once was with my Ex g/f Nina that I rag on every once in a while here:D The other I really don't want to talk about:( Either way, I kept from "snapping" too.
