Jest, I can sympathize with yah to a certain extent... Last thing I've wanted to do on the day before a holiday with ANY job I've had was do any real work... It's been even worse on holidays that I have had to work.

when Dan and I managed an apt. complex in Canoga Park, CA. We were 2 miles from the epicenter of the Northridge quake in '94 and the place was shaking all day. Dan was a contractor doing major repairs on folks homes and just hours after the 1st quake they were calling him to leave his family and apt. comples to come throw plastic over the holes left when thier fireplaces fell out!!! I was like, "Nah, don't think so......you can cover holes yourself!!" As if grown men can't use plastic sheeting!! Talk about nerve!!

So far I've been lucky, two calls, been here an hour....lets see if I can slow it down some, lol.

That's why we get paid the 'big' bucks. :) No calls for me today (knock on wood) ... I'm sitting here dicking around with a machine I loaded 2k sever on (I have to learn it so I cann pass the exam(s)), bored out of my mind.
