OK, this may just be a Texas thing, but why do people who have no need for it drive a truck?? Especially the moron with the jacked up 4X4 who has never had it in 4 wheel drive!! Trucks ride like shit, handle like shit, burn more gas, have more expensive insurance. I also espicially like the vatos in their lowered full size trucks. WTF? That really makes no sense. Lets have the low ground clearance of a car, low seating capacity of a truck, and an even SHITTIER ride because you lowered the damn thing!!

My truck rides better than the Stang does, gets 20+mpg in a V8

my insurance is 48 bux a month, the GT is 96.

I can tow 5500lbs, the stang can pull 1200ish,

the GT does 0-60 in 5.5ish, the Dakota does it in 6.2

I have a huge trunk (with my carpeted bed and bed cover)

I personally think my truck looks damn good, and it isn't even lowered!

I agree!!!!! I have a LOADED 2000 GMC Sierra 4x4 Z71 Ext cab, it's got Heated leather seats ..... the whole 9 yards, I've had it over a year and it has way under 6k miles on it. If I aint hunting, camping, or driving in the snow there is no reason to be sitting behind the wheel. My Mustang is my Daily driver, my Buick is my toy, and the Truck is for the dirty work, my truck gets 14MPG, my Buick gets 12MPG, and mustang gets 26MPG.

The mere fact you got a pic of you towing something you use your truck more than most people!!!

I have no idea why trucks are so 'in' for peolpe in high school. If you lug stuff around, go off roading great!

But it isn't fuel efficient, it can't hold many people, and it is a death trap for other drivers!

My Notchback Mustang WILL out handle 98% of the vehicles on the road (it has sub frame connectors, a G-Load brace and a Strut tower brace), it does not ride like shit (I actually do preventive maintenance on it) and it gets 26MPG. I hate FWD cars period and cannot stand driving them (I was going to buy a used STS, but decided against it after driving several.... FWD sucks). A Mustang is the perfect commuter car ... easy and cheap to repair and maintain, and fun to drive ..... You try driving through DC traffic every day in a car you do not like, or in a car that does not get respect …... it sucks.

LOL ... WTF do you drive? 1200lbs ... I guess it's not a bike, but WTF has a 4G gas tank? How would your suspension do on regular streets ... seems like it would 'skip' around any corner that has so much as a pebble on it.

... I have stock gears; I get closer to 30mpg at 56MPH. 26MPG is average from Baltimore MD ... through DC and to Arlington VA everyday (31.5miles each way)

4 bangers suck. The v8 is reliable, and it does not have to work hard. How long do you think my v8 will last when I am easy on it and it is only having to move 3000lbs? .... I'm thinking I can get 300+kmi out of it, just like I did in my Buick.

notch, meet Ziggy, my '94 Mini british open. Officially its a 5.2 gallon tank but when its empty and i fill it, it holds about 4 gallons tops. But with the mileage I still fuel up about once every 1.5 weeks.... so its no problem at all.

And suspension it not a problem, its very stiff and i do feel every pebble on the road, but it handles like its on a train track. It does exactly what I want it to do, unless the wheels lose their grip. It's a perfect car for in town, but since its top is about 75mph its not very fun on the highways.....

Neat car!!!! And in terrific condition too!!!! I could not deal with the 75MPH to speed though (mine will do 90+ with 2 gears left) ..... I bet it does handle good, but you had better hope there is no semi-straightaways if you are racing a good 5.0 :) :)

1994 F-150 Supercab. I use it as daily trans. Seldom haul anything in it. Don't like it... **** YOU. I used MY money to buy it. As for it ride, better tan my Escort or my Bronco, worse than my van. As for handling, it handles just fine. Get's 20mpg, can tow 7200 and I dont care what its 0-60 or 1/4 mile times are (That is what my Maverick is for). Insurance is $42.00/month. In fact, ALL five of my cars cost me less than $120.00/month.

I drive a truck because I feel comfortable in a truck. And when some dick-less wonder goes zipping around, looses control of his fuel efficient, low insurance sub-compact, I just go wipe off the bumper or Reese hitch and go on while his dumb-ass is crying over his car being totaled...
