Anyone else feel their job is just a waste of their time? I mean my job just makes me want to find a gun and blow my brains out in a hope that I could miss the day of work. honestly.

There was the time I had to check 30 computers to make sure virus scan was installed. Don't we have trained monkeys for that?

There was the time I had to install a printer cable for a dcotor. Thats not so bad, but then I spend 2 ohurs trying to make it 'look just right' for him. **** that, Im not an interior decorator.

Or what about when I have to spend hours on hold with tech support because some docotr broke his laptop and needs a warranty repair. Am I a secretary?

What about the time I had to enter 200 names into a database, along with all their contact information...

You know, on the surface this stuff isn't so bad, but coupled witha d aily commute fo 2-3 hours, an office with no windows and lots of dust, and class afterwards, I want to just say **** it so often...

But then I think of the money...and the current job market and im drawn in. They have me by the balls I swear. I wish I could do it part time or find other good part time work. But damnit.

Could be worse . . . could be in China hoping the rice crop is enough to fee you and your wife. And, you could be hoping that she's not knocked up because the government will force an abortion on her . . .

Then again, doesn't ALL work suck . . . isn't that why it's called work?

I hear you Manu. My job is boring, stupid, worthless... all those great things you mentioned. Why do you think I post here all the time? I have so little to do that I can surf the web all day long with little interruption. And this morning at our staff meeting, I announced that my boss was in New York for a week and they all laughed because nobody even realized she was gone. That's how invisible my department is around here!

my job isnt the most inspiring ever and its really busy at times, but I think you have to find some alternative so you can like it. I found that forums and Black & White keep me alive here, so I alt+tab between the game/forums and the reality of my job. And my manager doesn't mind as long as there's no urgent things to be done. He even likes B&W and often watches me play. Since I'm being evil my creature tends to eat villagers and stuff. Always good for a laugh.

I got 2 cheats, one where you can just pick a creature and get to choose how big/evil/strong etc it is, and another where you can put endless amounts of shit thru a vortex, so the next land gets easier. want it?

I can't think of anything I would rather do than IT, unless of course it involves drinking beer or driving fast, which when combined together don't make a particularly good combination.
