As a female, I do not want help getting educated or being promoted in my job. I want to earn what I accomplish, not be given it because I am a female.

I disagre with this because for too long minorities have been discriminated against and afirmative actions is simply a way of leveling the playing field.

You would be pleased to know, however that President Bush is actively opposing afirmative action so you so have an ally in a high place.

How can you agree with it when it might discriminate against yourself, or your children? My son has just the same right to the exact same education as my daughter. My children work very hard, and they deserve to be rewarded for that hard work. Living in American means no discrimation.

Yeah! It’s not BS.... affirmative action is discrimination.... by definition it IS discrimination ... and wrong IMO.
