and purchased tickets for the Nutcracker BALLET Ugh... Julie really wanted to go, its some big hoopla here in Chicago... Its only fair because I bring her to all the rural 'redneck' short track auto racing events... ;)

I even ended up getting Row 1 seats on the first balcony, hot damn.

Part of me says "that’s cool" (you got great tickets), and part of me says "LOL, better you than me" (they're for the Nutcracker) :) :)

I am not going to laugh because I suppose to go too.. but think of it this way.. since your on the front row of a balcony, can't you do what they do at baseball games and make a banner to through over the edge? just a thought..

in my oppion i am open to every form of the arts even ballet and i often chose to take dates there because its just amazing how a story can be told thourgh dance. so just try to see if you can get into it. but if you can't the gameboy idea is a good way to get thourgh the ballet for you girl

You know everytime I hear the word ballet I instantly get a visual image of the movie Top Secret where the ballerinas are doing split leaps across the guys um...bulges. That would make it pretty hard to sleep through. I think I'd have a hard time not laughing my head off the whole time.
