Ancient Ruins on the moon? (http://www.mufor.org/moon.htm)

It looks like crap to me...but who knows?

I am sure it is just like 'the face on Mars.' All it was was lighting and shadows that casued people to see what they wanted to see. The human mind has a way of seeing things it wants to.

The 'face' was debunked as a 'face' and found to be natural terrain features. I'm sure this is exactly the same thing. And if you look at it as a negative it really dosen't look like much.

Uh... The face on Mars has never been "de-bunked" by anybody.

It is totally un-natural and it sticks out like a sore thumb. Until we actually send someone there we won't know for sure. But to say it's been debunked is just nonsense..

I don't have the link handy, but when I find it I will post it... but there were 'fresh' pics taken '97. They were direct overhead pics as well as radar images taken at different times with different lighting. It was said to be natural. But till I find the link it's no biggie.

Well, re: the moon. I do not think there are ruins. if they are, they are smaller than 5 meters or on the 'far side' of the moon, otherwise they'd be detectable by ground based telescopes.

Regarding the face on Mars, there is always controversy (real or created who knows) surrounding NASA released images of the face. Some include NASA releasing non raw (i.e filtered) images, some include using 'inverted' or rotated images, and some include using an instrument (a 'mapping' device) that has a WORSE resolution than the original viking image...

You are being generous with the 5 metters from GBT's even the VLA would be hard pressed to see 5meters clear enough to make a 'better' guess as to what it might be. (rember the VLA is "a" radio telescope not optical) Hubble would have a better chance, but I do not believe it's current orbit would get much of the moon. (it facing away from the moon and it's 'aura' to get cleaner images of deep space)

To help show my point, the moon LZ's from Apollo cannot be photographed from GBT's. They are too small (and some are hiden by terrain) to be picked up and identified. The legs and decent thruster left behind from the ascent vehicle are larger than 5meters and on the 'light' side of the moon.

Gets me thinking.... If I was a civil engineer overseeing the long-term plan for a major city, I'd lay out all the roads so that at night the street lights would form a giant picture of Rupert Murdoch autofellating himself.

Now what would the aliens think of that when they look at us through their telescopes?

The newest pictures definately take the 'face' out of the picture, but they add some other interesting ideas...

Like the symmetry of the shape. The 'base' the object seems to be on that appears to be fairly uniform.
