i had a dream last night that i was being chased around by vampires. i was at the mall with my kids, and i had this super "vampire sense" that i could tell when vampires were around. and i was trying to get to a store with my kids without any vampires in it. (it was bizzare) i wasn't scared or anything, just concerned that i was in a mall full of vampires with my kids.

The "mall" was the world with out atheism. With out racists and anti-[fill in the blank]ists. It is pure b/c of me and my good looks. It is pure b/c I lay the smack down like Kraw or tam would. This "mall", is none other than DA's sister site "The stuped 1."

Your sense was your grand knowledge of my ablilities. You know the way I opperate. You know how effective and efficient I can be. This was you vampire sense.

Sounds like the mommy radar telling you to switch on to active mode. The malls are crazy this time of the year...even when the vampires stay home.

i'm reaching here, but one of my biggest fears is losing my kids. with so many bad things happening, man i don't know what i would do if my kids were lost...i think i would go crazy!

and once i found my kids, i'd kill the b******! :mad:

I bet your right Mari. Have you been stressing more of late about your little ones getting lost or taken? I know when the boys first started going outside to play on their own, I had 2 bad dreams of someone picking them up and when we found them they were, well dead. It scared me so much for a month I wouldn't let them go outside in the yard by themselves! LOL

not necessarily, i always worry about them, but i don't know...maybe...i just thought it was so strange.

when robert was a baby, i had a dream that someone came in to our house and shot him through the chest with a shotgun. that was scary! i woke up crying and everything. it was really terrible! (gives me the shivers just remembering it)

i just thought it was a strange dream to have.

*Bumping to ask a somewhat related question*

Do any of you have the same dream when you run a fever??? I've had the same dream since I was little that I was trapped in a multi colored box & the walls were closing in on me. I don't knwo what it means (if anything) but I'm just wondering if anyone has the same thing happen.

Oh yeah...anyone ever have part 1 & part 2 dreams??? Or am I weird that way??? :scratch:

I have to go with the crowd here & say that mari, your dream does sound like a fear of something happening to your kids. I have scary, strange dreams about my kids a lot. I had one when my son was a baby that I will never forget:

My son was being held by my father, who had died about a year before this occurred. Suddenly my dad looks at me & says "He's not breathing." I said yes he is but my dad insisted & started yelling "Go check on him! Go see!" I woke up, checked on my son & sure enough, HE WASN'T BREATHING. That was the freakiest thing I've ever had happen. My son was about 2 months old at the time. He didn't have any problems after that; even the dr. doesn't know why he stopped breathing. Luckily no damage occurred & it never happened again, but :eek:

That, BB, would be your father tryin' to help out. You won't find many people in this forum who don't believe in ghosts, remnant energies, or something like that, so I hope I'm secure in saying that it sounds like your dad dropped in to make sure you didn't lose your son.

That, or the subconscious parts of your mind, the parts that just know things, sensed your son wasn't breathing and put it in your dream to wake you up.

But you're right, it's freaky all the same.

The fact that you were not scared is significant and serves to say that maybe you have come to terms with something you were scared of but crossed that hurdle and won't be scared of it in the future.

Stage Monster, very freaky. Not too long before that happened, my mom had a dream that she was in her bedroom talking to my dad. She woke up & the room was filled with cigarette smoke (my dad was a heavy smoker). She was alone in the house at the time & she didn't smoke. She could see it & smell it.
