Just some thoughts,

When will the automobile industry finally roll out some affordable electrical cars. I think it is important that this is done soon.

Furthermore I am sick to death of seeing so much US money going to paying for mid eastern oil. We can use US grown grain to produce Ethanyl. I think the reason its not done more is because the oil companies have more political clout than US farmers.

Well, some companies are giving some good showings...

Honda has recnetly announced that they are going to put their hybrid insight engine into a civic...

So now the car won't be small...it is going into a major segment car...gets 70mpg. Thats not too shabby.

As far as electric cars...I don't see them being that feasible...hybird and other altnernate energy cars seem to be much more plausible...like hydrogen, or things powered by electricity made frm hydrogen...

hybrid engine in a civic? did I hear that right?? hehe... you can't make a half electric engine sound like crapping in a coffee can, now can we? so as soon as the old civics wear out (never).. no more ricers..

oh happy day :D

Here is my idea. We can produce elecrical automobiles with interchangable batteries. Batteries require chariging for several hours so this is what could happen. You have your electrical car and when the battery gets low, stop at a battery recharging station. It would be kind of like a gas station except that you switch batteries there. You remove your battery pack and drop it there at the station and pick up a freshly charged pack. Then off you go.
