Every year my parents and siblings and friends ask me what I want. The past couple years I tell them to please not get me anything, yet the inevitably do. So now I'm actually making a list so I get stuff I'll actually appreciate.

If anyone has any other ideas they think I might like, PLEASE share them.

Electric guitar (I'm going to try to learn)
Practice amp
Record player
Electric Razor
$$ for my tattoo fund
Ameoba Records gift certificates
New comforter for my bed
"Lullaby" by Chuck Palahniuk
Dvd's
Royal Tenenbaums
Stanley Kubrick Box Set
Donnie Darko
Fight Club
Amelie
City of Los Children
Raging Bull
Big Lebowski
Punch Drunk Love
Good Fellas
Swingers
Ghost World
The Hudsucker Proxy
Godfather Trilogy
Scarface
Pecker
Mulholland Drive

That's all I can think of, most of those are too expensive anyway....

Not when it comes to modifying them. I've never had the chance to learn really. Someday I plan to have at least one classic (hopefully a '49 merc) so I'll have to learn real quick....

The saying goes... Run whatcha brung. Start learning with your Geo...LOL then when you have something cool (49 Merc...GOOD LUCK FINDING ONE!!!) you'll already have the basic knowledge, and just have to refine it. Plus, it wouldn't hurt to have a neighbor like me...:D

yeah, actually a neighbor like you is exactly what I need. Unfortunately I live in a neighborhood where no one speaks english and the car I drive is a 4Runner. I open the hood and everything is packed in there and looks like a goddamn computer. I'd like to learn on something a little simpler....

Something simple. Hey, that's my car! :D Since I'm no mechanical genius, and for the sake of cheap horse power, I run the bare neccessities. No AC, no smog pump, blah, blah, blah. Just a carbed 302 lightly built. :D

Oh, pishaw, you men and your cars...everyone knows a woman makes the best mechanic ala Angelina Jolie in Gone in Sixty Seconds.

hehehe Actually, I know nothing outside of checking fluids and recognizing when various things are going wrong, and yes its done by sound and Im mostly right. ;) hhehehe

Igofast - My friend read 'Lullaby' and said it was one his favorite Pallaniuk books. :) I have read the first two and part of the third and fourth. I plan on reading them all in order but can not make it past the third, its just too confusing.

Which one is the third? So far I've only read "Choke"

I'm in the middle of "Lolita" by Nobakov right now (actually still pretty near the beginning) and it's a lot more erotic/almost pornographic than I expected it to be. No wonder it was so controversial at the time!
