well i always have werid dreams in them things happen and they come true or i get hurt in them and the next morning i have a cut on my hand in the same place as in the dream.....well anyways in my dream last night , i was swimming and something grabbed my legs and pulled me under , i couldnt breathe , seriously i was scared (in the dream) when i was abotu to die in my dream, i woke up gasping for air,and i was dizzy. it was scarey! the crazy thing is in the dream something kept telling me not to worry because it wasnt trying to hurt me it was trying to show me something.. it was werid becuase i almost believed it

From an analytic perspective, I'd say your subconscious is trying to tell you something.

Something trying to pull you under the water pretty much means that there's something, some sort of 'plunge' for lack of a better term, that you're thinking about, and it scares you.

The 'something' that is telling you it wants to show you something is your mind trying to get you to explore some option, some other road, and trying to say that although you are scared there is no danger for you in it.

I can only guess at whatever it is you are thinking about, and my guesses would be clouded by my own thoughts and visions, so I will leave it at what I have said. If you wish to give me more information, that is up to you.

se what i dont get is that , why would there be something holding me down and me being scared of it if i remember in the dream them saying not to worry and that they were trying to show me somehting. i was scared becuase i couldnt breathe not becuase of where i was goin

Fear from not being able to breathe in dreams, from my experience, comes usually from feeling enclosed or trapped by something, or being under a lot of pressure you feel you can't escape.

But if you wish I will ask a few psych majors what their take is on it...

well one of the things im planing on majoring in is psych.. but i dont agree with how they TRY to interpret dreams, usually i can interpret them , i just dont get this one
