Alright whats everybodies Favorite Genre, and Why?

You can choose more then one.

I am a fan of the age of empires type games. Real time is fun, but I prefer turns so that the computer isn't allowed to be so much faster.

i like those sport gameswhere you play asa team as i'm good at them

i also likre strategy games like warzone 2100 or football management games as their both nerve wrec king and fun

racing games i like also as they are great fun

I'm all about First Person Shooter I like the action right in my face.

I like a variety of games.
The only ones that ever keep my attention for long are MMPORPG's though. Everquest sucked out my soul for months.
I still love games like GTA3 and Tony Hawk though, and I'll play a little 4-player Bond anyday.

I pretty much play it all though.
Used to work at MicroPlay Videogames as a manager.
Got to try out all the merchandise LOL

I forgot to pick more than one, lol, but I used to live in Everquest, and love stuff like Civ and Fantasy General, strat stuff.

I'm not sure if I have a favorite genre.

I don't think I'll ever get into Everquest or FPS's.

I like simple stuff, with the possibility for complexity if you want to have it. Probably adventure is my favorite, but I'm not opposed to a good button mashing sports game, or a fun racing game.

I love RTS and RPGs. Adventure is good sometimes. I used to like FPS, but they are just boring to me now.

Haha! Sorry for the old thread bump, but I'm in a game postin' mood tonight.

Online RPGs are my all time favorite, but I really don't have time to play 'em anymore. I went from Ultima Online to Asheron's Call (the first one) to Anarchy Online. These more casual game playin' days, FPS are good for a quick fix. I'm really diggin' on Mafia right now, but that's not a FPS... really. More of an Adventure/RPG type thing like GTA3.

FPS, RTS (not turn based) and racing games!

Back in the days I enjoyed adventures like King's Quest and Indianan Jones, but that's a long time ago...

Um Zephod, RTS means Real Time Stratagy, so its inherant thats its not turn based, if it were it would only be a stratagy game. :p

You're right, I had Jay13's remark in mind, I like AoE too, got confuzzled along the way.

:werd: :D U.O. is EVIL. I used to play for at least 3 hours a day.

It consumed my life until this one day when I (the Illustrious Lady Diavolo Draconis) was riding around the bank in Britannia trying to flogg off silver weapons of vanquishing 'cause I had too many and was running out of room in my house for them 'cause I was at my lock-down limit.

I thought: "Hey, I'm still in my pyjamas! Maybe I should get a job and make some REAL money". :D

Fps shooters for me please. I love the thrill of em. I also like the strategy games, but not as much. :)
