Can anyone tell me if a 5 yr. old can play Gameboy? Are there games for that young age? If so, can you recommend some? Or maybe suggest another game for 5 yr. olds?? Thanks!

On a gameboy they should be able to play most games I think. My collegue has a five year old that plays Black & White. Sure, all he does is throw villagers, but it shows that the logic and coordination is there.

I would go for simpler games, like racing games (is supermario kart available for gameboy?) or platform games like ... well mario again.

Like Tam said, a five year old could play most games on the game boy, and Mario is the best bet, I've been playing Mario for as long as I can remember (I think I came out of the womb with a controller in my hand:D ). Yoshi's ilsand on the Game Boy advance would be playable too, along with well anything by Nintendo.

yeah the gameboy is a kids best intro to the small electonics world it catches the imagination and shows em how to take care of equipment........................and theyre hella fun:)
