What a great day..

My boyfriend woke me up at 7:30 which suprised me because we had stayed up late drinking. We each took some aleve and waited for the headaches to go away. I got ready and we left. It was a wonderful day. The sky was blue with just the right amount of clouds and a nice chilly wind. Not cold enough for a heavy jacket but a light cover-up. I love waking up this early. I like to make as much as I can of the day while the sun's out. We left and got breakfast at Burger King. We headed to his house and picked up a package to mail to his sister over in West Africa. After that we went back to his house and rested. I looked at the clock and it was 10:30, I couldnt believe I was up and how much I had done. We went over to REI and played around with everything. Picked up a head-light thing for his sister, a book about parks in Texas because we plan to go camping, and a kite. We went back to his house and attempted to fly the kite, no such luck, had a blast though. We then went to Home Depot to pick up some supplies he needed. He bought me some Christmas lights and I need to put them up. After that we went around to some exotic pet stores. He held the snakes and I looked at all the creatures. I actually grew fond of the snakes he was holding, we'll probably end up getting a Grayband Kingsnake. I liked them. We went to another pet store and did the same thing. We headed back here where we went through some old cassette tapes I had. After a couple of hours we went back to his house. We fixed the light in his kitchen and I started to paint. I just got home and made some chicken and mashed potatoes. We have a couple of movies we're gonna watch. The day was filled with hugs and kisses and smiles and a lot of laughs. It was one of the best days. It's the little things that mean the most. :)

Just reading that made me feel good:) Days like that are the best. Like when the boys are in school and Glen has off. The last time we went to the mountains for a few hours. Simple thing, but it was a blast to be together.

It is just the little things that count. :)

Yes definately. It was weird, I started off the moment talking about "Isn't it weird, a year from today we wont remember this moment? It'll just blend in.." But now we will. :) I love the little things.
