At the age of 13, I was diagnosed with panic/anxiety attacks and I have battled it ever since. Does anyone else have these, or think you may possibly have them at times.

It is quite scary and I had defeated the battle of them around 3 years ago..but lately with all the added stress they are creeping back in.. http://discussanything.com/Ubb/frown.gif

I heard Sex usually works good at treating them.

How did you get rid of them in the first place?

I know when I first got ill this past summer, I got really anxious, for a while, when I didnt know what the heck was wrong with me. It subsided for the most part but since the attack Ive felt a little funny at times.
Its strange, Ive been so healthy all my life and since I got sick its been a tough hill to climb to get back up to 100%.

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
--John Stuart Mill--

Well i was a nervous, anxious kid. Smoking pot helped, maybe a little too much. But girls usually freak out when they get high, so I wouldn't suggest it.

I had actually went off to camp in Alabama. As soon as I got there I started feeling the affects of my panic attacks. My parents had to come get me. From then on, I was sick for a long time. To the point, I would not even want to leave the house. I was miserable. Until they realized I was having panic attacks and treated me for them. Although, I may never be 100% without the panic attacks, I am doing better.

You always have the fear though, that they will hit you out of nowhere.

I found that exercise helps. Running, swimming or anything like that. Also take vitamines. B Complex in particular is good. Finally, avoid smoking, caffine or any other type of stimulents.

Heather...it is ALL about life style...

Look at you...

You're taking a load at school some fulltime students wouldn't take, you are working two jobs, you are part of a dart legue, you dont' exercise much, you eat out a lot, and you drink lots of soda...

Every single one of those thigns are MAJOR stress signs...

First thing is drop the soda. Drink lots of water. We're talking a GALLON a day...

Stop the fastfood...

And QUIT ONE OF YOUR JOBS ALREADY.
