ChaoticThoughts 08-21-2001, 04:26 AM I was just thinking of how many crazy cristian websites i have seen. One was about how evil witches are, and how they deserved to be burned...I do not know how someone like that could understand technology enough to have a website.
Then I remembered this one guy talking about how there should be 10 commandments in schools. Jesus would stop the violence...lol so many millions have died in the name of jesus. But people are just odd, in my opinion.

Well, I think (this is just my opinion ladies and gentlemen) that what he was trying to say is more of the fact of instilling the moral values of the 10 commandments in out schools. Really though, would that be such a bad thing?

D Durden 08-21-2001, 10:53 AM I think it's hard to teach children morality without religion.
It can be summed up in one word: "Why?" Anyone here with kids can understand!!!
"Why should I be nice to Suzy?" "Because . . . uh, well, because you SHOULD!"
"WHY?!"
LOL!
I'm NOT saying that kids can't be "good" without religion. What I'm saying is that an understanding of God helps ALL PEOPLE in understanding right and wrong.

Guitarophile 08-21-2001, 02:57 PM Hammurabi's Code, ladies and gentlemen. Be good, because if you're not, you'll suffer here on Earth. People throw God around like everyone believes in him, loves him, fears him, like they do. Well, the larger world just isn't that way. It's easy to want those 10 commandments in schools, because you and your Christian kids don't have to change one iota.
