Well, heard on the radio this morning that to help get out of our current $21Bil deficit they are going to triple our car registration fees.
Thank you Gray Davis.
(there's also a rumor starting that they may possibly double property taxes....bad news for owners and renters)
happy Monday - crap, I hate starting the week in this mood:mad:
DngrMse 11-18-2002, 12:14 PM Yep, Day Gravis is gonna tax this state into prosperity, dad gummit! Thank you, California voters for putting this shameless crook back in office. Don't say I did'nt warn you.
RedLine99 11-18-2002, 12:38 PM Me thinks how else will the Dems allow Mexico to re-take the state? With luck my company will move to Nevada. I'm in no mood for another career change.

Ditto! I'd rather not contemplate a career change, even though California is going to be hell to live in. What to do? Well, I'll be watching for promising jobs that are out of state anyway. Anything in the western U.S. might be worth looking at....so long as it's not in California.
and they say La. politics are bad :D

Gray-out Davis took a 12 billion dollar surplus, and turned it into a 24 billion dollar deficit, all by his little self. To cover his incompetent 'leadership', all my state taxes are going UP! If he reduced the number of new state programs and employees he's put in by only 1/3, the deficit would go away. But no....he's beholden to the unions, and the new jobs stay.
I don't care for Davis too much, but no way I was going to vote for Simon.
It is unfortunately again, a lesser of two evils battle.h

I did'nt vote for either of them. In hindsight, perhaps I should have shelved my principles long enough to vote Simon.
No, I guess not. Sigh. We're still screwed.
Really the idea of partisan politics is what victgimizes us. We either have to compromise to not get the guy we DO NOT want in office or we vote '3rd party' on principle, but run the risk of having someoen 'worse' than the compromise

I'd really like to see the 'system' change to be truly representative. Something it certainly is not now. I was reminded by this election of the Simpsons episode....Citizen Kang?
QtrHrsmn 11-19-2002, 08:40 PM <~~~ stay quiet, and resists the urge to say.......never mind...:D

Ohhhh yea, I think about that episode everytime I hear election stuff on DA..
"You have to vote! It's a two party system!"
"why, I think I'll vote for a third part"
"hahahahaha, go ahead! throw away your vote!"

Cat Patrol 11-20-2002, 09:34 PM It doesn't matter. Kalifornia will be controlled by Mexicans very soon. Thank you Republican party for not standing up for White Americans.
Monster 11-20-2002, 09:38 PM Might I inquire as to why you spelled that with a "K" instead of a "C"?
I don't know anyone that voted for 'no Gray matter Davis'. Does anyone know anyone who voted for him??
Cat Patrol 11-20-2002, 10:13 PM Stage Monster, yes you may inquire. I spell Kalifornia with a K because it has become a completely fascist state. The liberal democrats own this state completely.
Actually, I usually refer to Kalifornia as North Mexico, or, Mexifornia, because Mexicans and Mexican ass kissing politicians have control of the State.

But isn't that kind of silly? I mean, when the Spaniards colonized California, they spelled it with a 'C'. That's because in true Spanish, there are no 'K's. For example, there aren't *3* Ks in 'California', nor are there *3* Ks in 'America'. There probably never will be.
I hope we all learned something from this *fun* little lesson in Spanish!
Cat Patrol 11-21-2002, 12:00 AM I know that you are trying to be "cute" saying that North Mexico doesn't have the "3 Ks". But it does have a big "F" for Fascist, which is what the Democrats are who control the state.
I hope we all learned something today from the *fool* who talks about the *3* Ks.
Cat Patrol.. you feeling ok tonight? you sure are lashing out at members alot lately...chill. It will be ok
uhmkay? :D
Cat Patrol-
we all can surmise your views and that is fine. But it is NOT fine to continually berate members or attack them, such as calling them fools or idiots.
