Very nice. Not exactly a PDA, but not a laptop either. Comes with a modem. I wonder if I can network it...
Hmm, im not that into the whole palmtop PC thing.
I think either I woudl end up trying tod o more with it than I could or it would be a glorified PDA....

I think that's what it is, a PDA with a little extra muscle.
The cool thing is that like a PDA, it has no moving parts, i.e. hard drive, so it should be very durable and have a long battery life.
I think it would be just like having a regular laptop, with the exception that you can't load much extra software(games).
The thing that intrigues me the most is the PCMCIA slot. Does this mean I can add a network card? And if so can I get it on my network? The possibility is there...

That is true, the pcmcia card is pretty neat. For the plam you can get a wireless nic or a cradle for network on. There are some interesting documents on the go (light word/excel) for the palm too.
Like I said, for some it could be great. But I think I would either be disapointed cause I want to do more with it, or disapointed cause I am not using it more than I use my palm3
