I hate to bring up the subject of 9-11, but this is really starting to bug me:

It started about two weeks ago. I woke up, and when I looked at the time it was 9:11 am. No biggie. Then it happened again the next day. Every time since then, if I am home I will wake up at exactly 9:11 am. The only time this doesn't happen is if I had to get up earlier for work. This even happened the other day when Brian was spending the night. When I pointed it out to him (without going into the whole story about how lately I've been oddly waking up at that exact time) he suddenly said, "Wow...I woke up at exactly this time yesterday!"
It is so weird continually waking up, rolling over to look at the digital clock and it saying 9:11.

I really don't know what to make of this.

I clicked around on the website for a bit. Certain things jumped out at me....but I've never woken up specifically at 11:11 or anything like that. I also clicked around the site for a possible significance of the number 9 and couldn't find anything.

I personally don't know if it means anything at all. Now, I'll grant you that I have no knowledge of things of this nature, but...it could be that you're just sensitive to something about it, or somone near you is sensitive to it and you're picking something up from them...it could be any number of things. Are you waking up thinking or feeling anything specific when this happens?

When I wake up, the first thing that runs through my head is "wonder what time it is. Check the time....oh crud it's 9:11 again. Is there any significance in that?" I'll then just sit there and stare at the clock until the time changes.

Well, if you're not feelng or thinking anything in particular, then I'd say it more than likely has nothing at all to do with the 9/11 attacks of more than a year ago.

Just my humble opinion.

I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the attacks. Perhaps it is just a coincidencee that I keep waking up at 9:11. It's just starting to creep me out cause it keeps happening.

Its still eerie that she's waking up at the same time daily...

No explanation for ya, sorry.

Could it be something less sinister like a bus/train that passes by at that time right around there?

Manu,

I actually thought about that. I set my alarm clock this morning so I would wake up a few minutes before 9:11 to listen for any sounds that might be causing me to awaken. Nothing. I think I can also rule that out because when I was on the set of Alias last week, I fell asleep in my car (my car had been positioned, I had nothing to do but wait for the other 100 or so cars to be positioned) and when I woke up it was 9:11. This kinda rules out cues that might be triggering me in my home environment.
