I've been having lots of Deja Vu in lucid dreams lately. But it isn't like a reoccuring dreams. Its not that I've HAD this dream before, its that I get the feeling I've been here before or had that happen before.
Anyone else experience this?

In my waking life I've had the feeling of deja vu based on dreams, and I have common themes that keep popping up in dreams, but not deja vu during dreams. In a sense though, deja vu is a 'realisation' moment, and all lucid dreams have a moment when you realise that you're dreaming. So it sounds perfectly reasonable.
I've hardly been dreaming at all though because of exam stress, so no lucid dreams in a long time.

I don't know if it's Deja Vu but I have had the same dream many times before. It's weird to be dreaming and think that you've already had this one..:D

I've heard that thing about time warps, don't know how it's a bad thing though...
Oh yea, if you see this guy when it happens, then it might be bad..

I don't recall dreaming much lately.. I do recall having weird dreams, and it seemed like I had it before... several times.

I’ve had a recurring dream of mountains. I like being there so much, that now I’ll tell one of those “dream people” It’s good to back. Yeah crazy:) but it’s true. I’ve had deja vu only when I’m awake. I’ve never had a dream where I think I’ve done this before. What I mean is, it’s the same place just different events. I don’t know maybe that is a different kind of deja vu?
Heather you said about time warps or something. Never heard of anything like that before, but sure would like to know more. So if you got any information.. that would be great!
What I would like to know is what does this all mean. Why do we experiences this phenomenon at all? In dreams and when were awake, and so many of us.

I have had lucid dreams that were so real that when I woke up, I had to mentally shake myself to remind myself that it wasn't real.
I have also had dreams that at the time seemed innocuous but later turned out to be real. For instance, I was in high school and I dreamed that I was a wal-mart (dull dream) and I saw some earrings that I wanted to buy, so I did. Then my bicycle broke and I didn't have any money to fix it and I was screwed. When I woke up I thought nothing of it. Until, that is, I went to wal mart a few days later and saw the exact same earings for sale. They really were nice and I had just enough money to buy them. I decided to go with my gut feeling on it. A week later, I was riding my bike and I got hit by a car. Just the back wheel needed replacing, but it cost me the money I would have spent on the jewelry.
I also had a dream that I was driving down this back road and I saw a car behind a fence covered in weeds ect. Very clear. The next week I was riding with my G-ma down a road I had NEVER been down before and saw the exact same car.
Since these things (and others like them) I pay attention to my dreams and try to consider how they might impact on my life day to day. I have also learned to always trust my gut, even when it is as small as not going down the usual road home and take another way.
::Shrug:: works for me :)

I've had that sense of having been in this dream before in both regular and Lucid dreams.
Sometimes it's fun because you then can try to change the outcome of the dream this go-around.
