Hey, check out my website for local sports. Let me know what you guys think.

I KNOW it's super over-simplified, but hey, parents use it . . . what do you expect?

Thanks guys! Actually, we had a really "sharper" setup last year with lots of Java and easy menus, but, alas, we're in the land of the 56.6k modem, so it took too long to load, and people got cranky. I'm looking at doing the main page a little differently, now, though. It's got to be simple . . . since we update 2 or 3 times a day. Cumbersome scripting or coding would be a HUGE no-no.

If you get any ideas for the page, PLEASE share them. I need all the help I can get!

A little busy looking and exceeds my monitor's screen so I had to scroll to the right to view it completely. I had trouble reading the text on the home page that had an image in the light blue backgroud (upper right).

You guys got a great hockey players. Well he is not that good at scoring goals, but wait till you see him drop the mitts and toss some bombs.

The Grim Reaper is starting early!

Grimson gets in scrap early

Predators newcomer Stu Grimson took the ice for the first day of training camp. He later bloodied teammate Marc Moro's nose.

It didn't take long for forward Stu Grimson to show why the Predators acquired him in the offseason.

Grimson, expected to be the team's enforcer this season, got into a scrap with Marc ''Mad Dog'' Moro during yesterday's scrimmage at Centennial Sportsplex.

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound Grimson delivered one especially telling right hand that had blood spilling from Moro's nose.

''If you'd have asked me whether or not I'd drop the gloves before practice, I would have said, 'No,' '' Grimson said. ''But when you're out there, the adrenaline gets flowing and the blood gets flowing, and I guess instincts take over.''

There certainly didn't seem to be any hard feelings afterward.

A smiling Moro, who stands 6-1 and weighs 220 pounds, said he's just trying to win a spot on the roster.

''Obviously, I have to go out and be aggressive at this camp, and if there's an opportunity, I don't want to back down. I have him right at the top of the list when it comes to experience [as a fighter]. Sometimes you have to take your lumps out there.''

Grimson said he respected Moro for standing up for a teammate.

''He's a good person and a good guy. That's the nice part — it never carries off the ice.''

For you lucky dogs that can see this game tonight Edmonton vs. Nashville. EPSN and ESPN2 have a billiards match and figure skating. http://discussanything.com/Ubb/mad.gif Tonight could be a battle royale. The experienced Grim Reaper, who likes to throw bombs vs. the younger Georges Laraque, who would rather rapid fire jabs, but is thought to be one of the current best scrappers in the NHL.

Actually, yeah, I do most of the site, myself, but there are lots of guys who contribute . . . most for free or at least for free tickets to games.

It's really coming around. Hell, we may even make some money off of it one day! LOL!
