Several airline pilots have reported sighting a shining Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) near the south-eastern Chinese city of Nanjing.

A Xiamen Airlines pilot reported the first sighting on Monday.

He said he saw a light blue object hovering past his plane.

At the same time, pilots of a Shandong airline, which was some 120 kilometres away from the Xiamen airlines plane, also reported a similar sighting.

They described the UFO as being a white and blue skateboard-shaped craft.

The UFO was believed to be some 70 kilometres above the eastern Bengbu city in Anhui province.

In recent years, China has witnessed a surge in UFO sightings.

I wonder if it is some new military jet?

Though, China doesn't really make a lot of their own stuff, they buy soviet.

I remember a few years back I was watching something (again on the Discovery Channel) about UFOs...they said that there's a lot of historical evidence of cigar-shaped objects in the skies...

...but all those cigar-shaped things were seen from the ground up...maybe from higher up....it's the same thing we're talking about now.

God, how cool would it be to say we were alive when we made first contact (or "they" made first contact, as the case may be)?
