OK, sports shows and tapes are full of great plays that somebody thinks are spectacular and deserve to be immortalized. Just for fun though, what's everyone's opinion on the biggest screw-up they've seen during a sporting event. It can be one that either ticked you off roayally or you thought was so bad/stupid that it was funny.

Mine is one that just plain ticked me off. It was back in the third game (I think) of the 1987(?) World Series. That was the Oakland A's vs the Reds. Anyway, the play was when one of the Reds got a hit into the outfield and Jose Canseco just walked after the ball rather than trying to field it properly. I had been lucky enough to score tickets to that game, and was an A's fan at the time. Win or lose though, I wanted to just see some good ball played. Talking about a MAJOR letdown!!!

I believe that was like 1990 or 1991 when the Reds swept the then champion A's in 4 straight.
