Among my hobbies I like to play with gas powered R/C trucks. Particularly the TRAXXAS Nitro Stampede.

Its cheaper then playing with my real cars too..

Wow, nice looking truck!

How much would ya say you've invested in that?

In that particular picture set? About $500 including the truck, all supplies & accessories to start out in the hobby.

I dont have any new pictures, but I currently have an additional $1,000 put into it.

Im gonna get an X10 wireless camera and mount it to the truck so we can see what its like to go 400 scale mph.

If someone wanted to start out in the hobby you can do it for about $300-350. If someone wants to go with Electric powered vehicles its only $200-300.

Some hobbiests fly gas powered model planes at a state beach. I rode the bicycle there the other day and someone had a stunt plane that was doing all the tricks that the real planes do at air shows. Pretty neat.

I was never really into R/C stuff. I thought it was 'kids' toys.

Untill I saw some gas powered trucks that go 50mph on land (can't hardly even see them) and can launch off ramps 50 ft in the air and land and keep driving.

I went and bought one for the hell of it and got hooked.
