Do you belive in it?
If so why?

If you do believe in it have you ever done a past life regression?
If so what happened?

I believe it may be possible to "feel" a past life. It's not like you, your parents, their parents, etc...didn't start somewhere. Maybe because humans live so long it is harder to pin down?

Where in the atoms and molecules that we're made up of would there be a combination that would give us the ability recall existances of other things?

Bull honkey.

Nope, don't buy the past lives bit. I think that I am who I am. I truly think this, Sam I Am. :p

Well, from a 'religious' sense, yes. Reincarnation = past lives. But im not sure if I truly believe in that...

I think as redline said, there is often the feeling of past lives. The feeling of something that 'crosses a boundry' of time. Not sure if it is ACTUALLY there.

Justin-

Though it would be nice for EVERYTHING to come down to atoms, there are some unkowns, like redline said, like instincts....

I personally dont believe in past lives. I dont think its compatible with Christianity. My ladyfriend does believe in though. She seems to think that its like in the movie "What dreams may come". She says that people who know eachother in one life may assume different roles in the next. Sometimes you pay for an act of cruelty in one life by paying for it in another.

It would take me a long time to write what I feel about this. I don't really believe in reincarnation in the sense that if I off myself ten minutes from now I'll come back as something/someone else...that would imply some form of transcient other dimensional existence to me...something I'm not convinced exists.

But you have to ask yourself why science says we use so little of our brain. Is most of it storage? Do you know your parents, grandparents, maybe great-grandparents well enough to see YOURSELF in them? It's something I discovered once and an explanation for many of the ways I have dealt with things in my life. You know...your brain telling you one thing, then you go and do exactly what you know you will, but don't really want to?

Maybe somewhere in the back of your mind someone breaks out every now and then. To me, that would be a past life. I know I see parts of me in my children. How much...I'll never know?

I do believe in reincarnation, but as far as remember your past lives, think so I don't, I mean maybe during that time when our "soul" is waiting for a new host maybe then we would remember things from past lives, but while we're "alive" I don't think we are capable of remembering such things because we simply aren't capable of taping into the energy that is our "soul". I hope that made sence.

interesting version of opinions I have noticed. TheGreatMonkey i have read somewhere that your past lives reveal themselves to you when it is nessary for you to learn. supposly the info is stored in your soul.

I am of the opinion if they are my memories and I do not feel that they should be shown to me at "their" convience. I went though several past live regressions a couple of them with professionals and once I learned their methodsI decided to try it myself. Very interesting. upon my discovery i have noticed a patern. people tend to be the stick around with their friends and people they want to feel close too.

Care to expand on what else you've found?

I don't so much think its they're revealing themselves when the time is right, but that part of you thats cabable of remembering the stuff thats happened in the past saying "wait we've done this before, it didn't work out so well last time (or last time it worked great) lets not let this guy/girl srew it up this time" or something like that. I don't put much faith in people that perform "past life regressions" it doesn't seem "right" to me, I don't know just rubs me wrong. but whatever flouts your boat.

Waaaay back, I was a sort of Mongol Warrior type. Swords, axes, ponies thundering across the steppe, round huts, torches, skin clothing, the whole deal. I used to worship a dragon, a figure of which I'd made from the long bones (legs, arms) of my "vanquished" enemies. Very bad karma ensued. As repayment, I'm an empathic / healer this time, meaning that I feel and deal with others' pain. Hence the crusty exterior.
Found out about this in 1989, during my first regression. Heavy stuff, no drugs. Believe what you want, if nothing else you've been entertained for a few minutes.

when our "soul" is waiting for a new host

Again, I used to feel that this might be an explanation. However, if our "soul" is transient then there must be a finite quantity of them and also "source souls".

It makes far more sense to me now that we are bearers of the past within ourselves, that we will continue by creating others not occupying others.
