What conditions are neccessary? ------------------ Manu Narayan Powerboss 07-18-2001, 08:18 PM Theyre incredible... Every year when I go back to visit relatives in Canada I get to see them. What happens is that there is something called a solar wind in outer space. As these particles pass over the North Pole they become charged and emit beautiful, pulsing patterns of light, sometimes various colors. I reccomend everyone see it sometime in their life. ------------------ Man — every man — is an end in himself, not the means to the ends of others. He must exist for his own sake, neither sacrificing himself to others nor sacrificing others to himself. The pursuit of his own rational self-interest and of his own happiness is the highest moral purpose of his life. But thanks Bill! See, the problem is, it is caused by the increased magnetism at the poles. But I saw something that looks EXACTLY like it in So Cal... So I was confused. I saw them when I was up in Alaska, I was 6 at time. And for a 6 yearold who LOVES outerspace, that was a real treat. ------------------ Manu Narayan Squalo 07-21-2001, 10:41 PM superintendant chalmers: "aurora borealis? at this time of year? confined solely to your kitchen?" principal skinner: "yes" sc: "can i see it?" ps: "no." ------------------ That's Just My Humble Opinion. |
