Last night I talked with Katt on the phone for the first time since mid-August, when I called to say that the "just friends" bit wasn't working for me b/c I was too in love with her to emotionally detatch myself enough.

God, it was good to hear her voice. I swear, if I didn't get to hear her voice soon, I was either going to go insane or go hang myself (probably the insane option). Anyhow, about 90 minutes after we hung up and went back to talking online (phone call for her mother cut us short), something struck me, but by that time she had gone off to work and wasn't going to be back online that night--nor will she be back online tonight or tomorrow *sniff*.

Anyhow, what struck me was that for the first time ever she had talked with me about the future. She had said things like "Next year, if I'm there, I'm gonna be chillin' with you all the time." and a few other things. She was talking long-term!

*sits back in chair, arms folded across stomach, with a contented look on face, sighs relaxedly (sp?), and sinks into chair*

I foresee very painful self-destruction in your future. Either that, or you're a girl. No guy EVER has this much drama in his life.

Don't mean to sound cruel, but it's time to tak e step back, take a deep breath, and smell the OTHER p*ssy out there.

Been there, done that, didn't like it.

Anyways, that's my conversation with her from Sunday.

On a side note, Saturday night we talked on the phone and online, and several things happened: (1) She won FIRST PLACE in the drama festival competition I used to compete in and she still does/did; (2) I conquered another major fear of mine and said "I love you" to her on the phone, not just online--it's so much easier behind this emotional wall; and (3) I realized that I'm going to have to talk to her more often than I have been--like three times a week if I can--if I am to survive my stay here without Her.

Okay, I'm just gonna sticky this thread and keep it updated every time I talk to her and something of interest comes out of it.

Today, we talked on the phone for like an hour (give or take like 8 minutes, if that much). God, hearing her voice makes me feel good. I miss her, and hearing her voice from all the way back home makes me feel better for like two to five days.

11 days (10 by my time) and I go home...and see her...and kiss her for the first time in half a year....YAY!!!!
