Anyone ever play this? Addictive as all hell strategy game. Love it. :) Not as good in some respects as Civ II, but better in some ways than Civ III.

Never heard of it. Do you have any screen shots or anything like that to show?

This sounds interesting.

I use a macintosh for online use and a pc for writing and such. I dont know how to do a screen shot or anything like that. :o

The game is great in the fact that its a strategy game with the purpose being world domination. You can manipulate trade, governmental systems and these things. Its great.

Uhhhh.....the original Civ would be.....Civ. You know, the one that came out in '92 or so. I used to play that on my Amiga. Oh, the memories. :|

Either fight it out with everyone, using nukes and those eco-nukes(?) or isolate yourself and focus on science, and once you have researched eveything, you build (something) and win. But one game can last quite awhile.

Gerneraly I combine those two stratagies, but have never succeded in winning by world domination (I get bored with the map eventualy).

My best advice would be to focus on defence at first, station at least one unit in each city, and just research and build stuff.

I've won several times by using science/domination. I was the English or the Germans. I was told that using the Romans is a great way to win but for some reason when I have used the Romans my science advance was much slower. My defence was great though.

I was also told that by building my city near water (not on the edge by the sea, but by a river) that that helps. And to also irrigate like hell around the city and produce mines.

My stategy has been to produce two defence units then a settler, found a new city and repeat until end of game. This helps with population growth.

I've done these things as well as other, but I can never seem to get past 97% at Chieftain level (I know, I suck), while my friends are at 316%! on Deity!!!
