My friend and I were at the camp when it was feeding time.
I only had my instant camera,not my prof.one
Both Hyena and Lion were feeding from the top of the artificial rock(right) and fighting much better.The game warden dared not to separate them.
You may not know this ,but a Hyena's jaw is the strongest jaw in the mammel world and could have harmed the warden to such an extend that he could have been crippled or killed the Lion
I was fascinated and forgot to make a photo.
Then about 10 minutes later the Lion went for his nap and about 5 minutes later the Hyena followed ,next to the Lion.
Only then did I take a snap shot.
Borth animals are not dead
I have never seen such a sight,bearing in mind that both were about 7/8 months old, and enemies
The game warden too was perplexed.
The two were in separate enclosures(see back enclosure) ,but somehow the hyena got into the lion's den .
I just thought that you may like this somewhat unnatural sight.

PS: Another phenomenon of a Hyena is that you can not distinguish a male from a female.
Darn males seem to have a fixation of a female thingy or they are just "gaying" around:p

Red... I used the clone tool in paintshop. Ya know.. the one where ya pick one point, and then a second point, and it copies everything from the first point. (Basically I free hand draw whatever was white to make it look like it would be if it wasn't white. heh.
