Okay, as a little backstory to my current tale, I have been experiencing a slight pain in my abdomen sporadically for a long time now...like maybe even back to my Jr. year of hs. Recently, however--like in the past 3 or 4 weeks--the pain has become not so much sporadic but constant.

So today I had an appointment with Health Services here on campus to find out just what the hell was causing this pain. A few days ago I looked down at where the hurt was coming from and realized that it was directly beneath an old hernia scar...that same day I called and made the appt.

So end result is that, while I'm only feeling pain on the left side, both the right AND left side of my body have re-herniated...the stitches came loose or something. Apparently it's not unheard of or even abnormal for that to happen, sometimes the wear-and-tear of the stitches just makes them come loose, like a shirt or something.

Anyhow, my Winter break just had one thing added to it: surgery. Thankfully it's a small, quick, outpatient procedure and the only big thing is I won't be allowed to drive for 2 days...big whoop.

So...yeah, that happened, and it majorly buckin' flows (wow, that works!).
