i had my first test today.. my first test at a "university"
(it was for my Journalism 100 class)
I read all of the material assigned.. I studied plenty... and i felt well acquainted with the material...
did that help me? ...yeah.. umm i dont think it did
actually, i think i would have done okay if it was multiple choicel.. but it was short answer, so it was like you either compltely have an answer or you dont... I hope hte essay part was worth a lot, i usually do well on those.. but i really really really think i bombed the rest of it...
ugh... this stupid test was worth 10% of my grade.
i'm gonna go start practicing saying, "Do you want fries with that" now... :( yuck, i hate classes that make me feel stupid...
So far, im pretty happy with most of my classes.
We've gotten a few pieces of work back in Media writing, Communication and the Sexes, Narrative writing-- and i've gotten 100% on everything so far-- which i dont intend to change...
my other class-- besides journalism and those three is Photography.. we handed in our first assignment today..
we had to critique ourselves and also give ourselves a grade-- and the sheet said that if we were honest and thoroough on the sheet, our grade is whatever we decide.. i hope that wasnt BS-- i gave myself an A-... i worked really hard on that photo. and actually, i think i did a good job, except for one thing, which i felt too stupid to ask in front of the class...
We posted them across the front of the room, and out of the 16 photos that were turned in, probly 11 or 12 were super glossy.. and mine wasnt. I'm thinking i missed a step.. but i havent got a clue what that is.. anyone know that one? hmmm
