Damned local wildlife!

Earlier this week my daughter goes to leave and there's a skunk by the front steps. OK it was 10 pm and that's not unusual. Yesterday after an afternoon of gardening I was putting my stuff away, It was still light outside, not even the mosquitos were biting. I went to water the plants on the porch, I look down and the only thing separating me from Pepe Le Pew is three steps. I let out the biggest gasp before I even had time to think and ran in my house. WTF! Why is the local wildlife out in the daylight when he's nocturnal. Pepe ran as fast as I did and thankfully didn't spray meh; I got a feeling this is going to be a long summer and potentially smelly summer.

I had one in my back yard, so I kept the dogs in the house until he found the hole he came through. When I checked an hour later, he was gone so I looked until I found the hole and plugged that baby.

What's neat is listening to the raccoon family on the roof..parents scolding the children.
