What's the biggest bear? A Grizzly bear? A Polar bear? What would happen if this bear and the biggest lion or tiger were put in a pit and fought to the death? Which animal would win?

i think itd be polar bear vs. tiger. polar bears stronger i think, tigers faster i think. (this is all off the top of my head, so award no importance to it)

Not sure if it's true, but I've heard reports that a wolverine was "hugged" by a very large bear, & that it countered by burrowing into the bears chest & mincing it's heart.

the dutch word for wolverine is 'veelvraat', which, translated back literally, means 'gorge a lot'.

(gorge as in 'eat with great conviction', is it the right word?

why would any one want such a wonderful pair of animals to fight against each other.
