My mouse was almost dead. I went by an officemax, and picked up an ibm optical mouse. It has a nice grip and scroll button that glows blue, and two programmable buttons. got it for $30

ya, it sounds like an infommercial, but i like it.

MAN!
I got one of those logitec cordless keyboar/mouse deals.

havn't been able to get it to work though!

I plug in the reciever to the mouse and keyboard inputs on the back of the computer. I put batteries in the mouse... it glows red.
Nothing... mouse doesn't work... keyboard doesn't work.
I tried pushing the connect button on the reciever thingy. No new hardware was found. Nothing... just nothing.

WHY ME!

optical trackball yeah. Instead of little wheels is uses the optical light. Same concept as a ball-less optical mouse, but different way of going about it

Have two of the lil buggers. One on the primary system, one on the secondary.

Love em- long as you occasionally blow out the littel well where the optical reader rests to keep dust bunnies out, it works like a charm.

Yeah I believe mine must be defective... everyone else loves them, and say they install very easy... just plug & play.
Mine does nothing.

Figures.

Guh.
