Login not working/not needed

It happened again today. When bringing up the DA site I'm presented with a page that says I need to log in. I do, and the same page reappears. I log in again, and it takes me back to the same page requesting a login.

Giving up, I click on "Forum" and am taken to the forum page where I see that I am logged in.

Advanced Search doesn't seem to be working properly. I was looking for a thread I was posting to yesterday but couldn't remember the name, so I made four different attempts, each with an uncommon keyword I remember using in that thread. None of them brought it up as a hit.

I went through each thread I've followed recently, one by one, and finally found it. All four of those keywords are in that thread. Why didn't Advanced Search turn them up?

I just tried it again, this time not identifying myself as the User Name. This time the thread I was looking for, and many, many others, came up. The User Name filter seems to be blocking the thread I was looking for.

cache issue? hit F5 :shrug:When I turn on the computer in the morning and go to DA, there should be no cache issue to contend with.

What is the page that you go to initially that presents the login? Can you give me the exact link? There may be some other page you're using that isn't setting the cookie correctly.

It usually works fine, except when I'm instead presented with the page described in the OP that says I have to log in.
