Yo peeps. I'm lookin' into a nice yin-yang tattoo, or at least half of one, and I was wondering if anyone knew if tattoo artists could do it in actual black and white. It would go either on the back of my neck or on the back of my right hand.

You can get a tattoo with white ink, but they really don't turn out that well. I've seen some that are all white ink, and they just look like scars, more or less. Again, I'm gonna be a body mod geek and tell you to go to www.bme.freeq.com (http://www.bme.freeq.com) and check it out there. I believe there is a white tattoo in the tattoo section under BME logo tattoos. I think the picture is of it when it was fresh, though, so you've got some scabbing, which may make it hard to see. Also, under 'culture' and then 'couples who met through BME', in the second picture, you can see the guy who runs the site, with three white lines tattooed across his forehead (that's a much better picture, because it's not fresh). Basically, I don't think you're going to get a true white. But check out that site, and talk to your tattoo artist before you decide anything - they may be able to figure something out for you.

Hardly...I just happen to spend most of my waking hours on their site. It's interesting stuff, I tell you. And that site is universally accepted as the best body modification site that exists. You should see what some people do to their bodies....it's wild.

Okay. I'm scarred for life. Emotionally, that is. The first thing I see when I load up the page: a tongue-spitting(victim?). I liked what I saw from most of the tattoos and even some of the piercings, though I have no desire to increase my metal-to-flesh ratio at this time. I peeked into scarification and remembered stories of a certain black widow. *shudder* I guess I've got to go find an artist now. I'm not too concerned about the design's complexity, because all I really want is all or half of a yin-yang.

No can do...my password ran out a couple weeks ago, from when I sent in my nipple piercing story (I got a 2-month membership out of that). I guess maybe I need to send in some pictures or something, so I can look at people aith more metal than skin in their genitals. Mmmmmm....
As for tongue splitting - that's the new thing in the body mod community. You'd be amazed how many people are doing it (a natural spin-off of the tongue piercing fad...you get your tongue pierced, it gets stretched out from pulling on it/getting it caught on stuff, you snip the remaining skin and can now pick things up with your forked tongue. I think they're kinda fun, but I would never want one myself.) Scarification...well, that's another story for another time.
