For movies, I usually go to axxomovies. Google it. Not a bad site. For music files, either frostwire or like what you said, google the song name + the word torrent.
I don't really torrent these days.. But when I did, I'd just google and find torrent links.

I am also using Torrent site to download movies, Games and other application and software. Torrent is the one of the most popular website which provides you high quality of movies at high streaming and also at free of cost.

I just go Usenet. /shrug
Very fast, secure. No invites needed, users commonly warn of virus infections, (though a virus checker is still a good idea). Downloads complete in minutes. No 'poison pack' issues from unknown sources.
You peeps can keep your torrents.

They stopped offering an nntp server for Comcast years ago. What usenet service do you use? (I hate the idea of paying for usenet separately from my ISP, but I guess that's the current way of things.)

You have to pay for it anymore these days. I don't know of a single provider in the U.S. that offers usenet as part of it's basic internet package. Right now I'm on Usenext.....they offered a two week free trial when I signed up, and I think they're still doing it.

When I first started using the Internet, it was mostly for Usenet. Back then, though, it was decent discussion. Really enjoyable. Back then, people would put their names, compainies, and often work phones and emails in their sig lines in case anyone wanted to follow up offline. Long gone are those days. I quit using it many years ago when all my newsgroups either became moderated or got spammed up.
It's probably good for getting music without the threat of being sued into poverty, though.
Usenet, I've not been on in a newsgroup in maybe a decade...
