To quote from Wikipedia, 'In contemporary usage, dictatorship refers to an autocratic form of absolute rule by leadership unrestricted by law, constitutions, or other social and political factors within the state'.

The use of executive orders to skirt congress has become common. This is what happens when the constitution is willfully misinterpreted. Fisrt you get crap like antitrust legislation, drug laws and Social Security and eventually you get a president who thinks he can do anything he wants.

The truth of the matter is, Democratic Congressman Jessie Jackson Jr. has not only admitted that Obama is a dictator...but that he supports it!

I'm not making this shit up. Have a look here:

Jackson says that if Congress won't pass Obama's jobs bill, Obama should simply declare a "state of emergency" and implement the plan without congressional approval. I think that qualifies as a dictatorship.

I know liberals don't like to be bothered with things like democracy when it's not going their way.

lol ... you guys please remember to wear a helmet the next time you go jumping off the deep end over what some retarded crackpot says, especially Paul, or his son for that matter. You have too few brain cells left to risk any more.

Congressman Jackson seems ever so willing to give President Obama darn near absolute power to implement the policies he agrees with. Can't he see the frighteningly dangerous precedent this sets? I wonder if he would be just as enthusiastic to see a POTUS he disagrees with use such powers in the future.

And THAT is exactly why such precedence should never be set. I wouldn't accept someone I agree with using force because I know that opens the door to someone I disagree with using force.

Congressman Jackson is too stupid and shortsighted to see that.

I think it's pretty obvious that Democrats tend to dislike Democracy and the Democratic process. When votes don't go their way, they attempt to circumvent the process and get leftist judges to legislate from the bench, then they ALWAYS claim voter fraud or that the population is just too dumb to understand their high-minded, well intentioned ideas. After all, us little people just cling to our guns and religion.

I am in TOTAL agreement with you here! I was merely expressing my bewilderment of his lack of foresight...not in ANY way agreeing with his philosophy.

You are absolutely correct! To them democracy is often an just an inconvenience that gets in their way of forcefully making us abide by their ideals. Lord knows that they in their infinite wisdom know far better than we do what is best for us.
