The battle raged in Madison WI this weekend:
Returned from the Kendo Tai Kai (tournament) in Madison WI.
Did OK, not great but OK.
Lost the first round in the individual competition.
In the team competition I won my match but my team did not win.
But, as my Sensei told me, Kendo is not for fun. Kendo is war. It is the ancient battle of two warriors armed with swords. When a soldier walks into battle he can expect honor only in a good death. Your death must be one of honor.
Well anyway I had a blast.
