My French Jewish grandmother got with a Creole Black guy in Lousiana. Guess why she came to the states as a little girl? :)

I've always thought the Creole aspect of my history was pretty cool but I literally know only what I've read online about it. I wish I knew more. I met a very beautiful girl a few months ago and we'd talk and had alot in common. But then I moved so I made sure to add her on myspace. Low and behold she is creole and even took a trip to Haiti once. I wish I knew prior that she was creole and knew about the history of it and all. She even speaks French. It's amazing what never comes up in conversation but Facebook can show you in seconds.

I guess I will continue to use the movie Skeleton Key as a historical reference... :(
